Salary: The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000 per year, reflecting the company's commitment to competitive compensation.

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer at ThredUp, you will develop applications and systems for the company's distribution center using Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Rabbit MQ, and NodeJS.

You will work with the web engineering team to design, document, and implement Application Program Interfaces (APIs) facilitating communication across different applications.

Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and optimizing core applications based on performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have a Master's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field and six months of experience as a web developer/engineer or equivalent.

Must have experience with upgrading user interface functionalities using Node.JS, Firebase, Stripe, C++, and React; designing/developing websites using JavaScript, Java Swing GUI, UNIX operating system, HTML, WebSocket, and CSS.

Additionally, you should be skilled in applying SOLID principles and algorithms to build APIs.
