Position Overview:

Digital Prospectors is in search of a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to become a vital member of our innovative team. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and dependability of our user-facing applications and APIs through the implementation of automated testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans that outline the steps necessary to validate system functionality, including preconditions, expected outcomes, and actual results.
  • Convert manual test scenarios into automated scripts compatible with our testing framework.
  • Execute automated tests to ensure software meets established requirements.
  • Integrate automated testing processes with development pipelines and produce reports for stakeholders.
  • Analyze test results to identify defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine business testing criteria and test scenarios.
  • Ensure all requirements have clear pass/fail criteria and are verifiable as specified.
  • Align automated tests with business and project objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure a mutual understanding of project aims.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years focused on automated testing frameworks for user-facing applications and APIs.
  • In-depth knowledge of automated testing frameworks, performance testing, and resilience testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in creating automated test cases and scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber frameworks.
  • Proven experience with Junit, Postman, TestNG, Git, and JIRA Software.
  • Familiarity with Selenium WDIO, Selenium GridHub, and WebPack.
  • Experience with scripting and configuration tools.
  • Knowledge of CI and CD tools and frameworks.
  • Programming experience in SQL and Python is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
