Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to enhance our team. This role is vital in maintaining the excellence and dependability of our customer-facing software applications and APIs through advanced automated testing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive test plans that outline the sequence of actions necessary to validate system functionality, including test steps, preconditions, expected outcomes, and actual results.
2. Convert manual test scenarios into automated scripts compatible with our testing framework.
3. Execute automated tests to ensure software meets established requirements.
4. Integrate automated testing processes with build pipelines and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
5. Analyze test results to identify defects or failures.
6. Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine business testing criteria and cases.
7. Ensure that all requirements are clearly defined with objective pass/fail criteria.
8. Align automated tests with business and project goals.
9. Engage with stakeholders to foster a shared understanding of project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in software testing, with at least 3 years focused on automated testing for consumer applications and APIs.
- In-depth knowledge of automated testing frameworks, performance testing, and resilience testing.
- Proficient in creating automated test cases and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber.
- Familiarity with Junit, Postman, TestNG, Git, and JIRA Software.
- Experience with Selenium WDIO, Selenium GridHub, and WebPack.
- Background in scripting and configuration tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and frameworks.
- Programming experience in SQL and Python is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.
