Job Summary

We are seeking an Economist to join our professional team supporting our clients' growing needs for economic impact analyses, socioeconomic evaluations, planning, and documentation. The successful candidate will serve as an Assistant Project Manager and will be part of a team that works closely with our Technical Director and with Senior Project Managers from other teams.

Responsibilities
  • Technical Correspondence and Reporting: Prepare technical correspondence, reports, work plans, and project specifications to meet internal and external expectations.
  • Proposal Development and Cost Estimation: Develop proposals and cost estimates resulting in the award of new work with clients.
  • Project Management: Manage tasks and provide technical leadership to ensure scope, budget, schedule, and quality are met.
  • Client Relationship Building: Work directly with clients to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Economic Impact Analysis: Perform economic impact analyses using IMPLAN.
  • Team Engagement and Mentorship: Build and strengthen team and staff through engagement and mentorship.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Economics, or Finance; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in consulting.
  • Skills: Experience with IMPLAN, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) experience preferred, strong ability to prioritize, organize, and perform across multiple work assignments, excellent verbal communication and technical communication skills.
