The Role:
As a Senior Associate in our Alternative Investment Funds practice, you'll work directly with Management to engage in the tax planning, consulting, and compliance process for complex clients, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fund of funds, and venture capital.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and prepare tax returns
Continuously build technical knowledge of tax planning, consulting, and compliance for national and foreign entities through formal and on-the-job training
Work with management to identify and research complex client issues
Provide regular updates to clients
Assist in project management of compliance and consulting engagements
Supervise and participate in the professional development of Associates and Interns
Receive formal tax training related to Alternative Investment Funds, on-the-job training, direct feedback from top tax leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources
Compensation and Benefits:

Requirements:
2+ years of relevant tax experience
Bachelors and/or relevant advanced degree (MAcc, MST, JD)
Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree (Preferred)
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Advanced credential or desire to obtain advanced credential allowing for IRS client representation (i.e., CPA, JD)
Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Proficient use of technology
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
