We are seeking a highly skilled Mission Software Systems Engineer/Principal Mission Software Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This role will involve preparing detailed software requirements specifications, developing design and interface specifications, and modeling subsystem behavior.
Key Responsibilities- Develop software requirements and specifications
- Design and develop software interfaces
- Model subsystem behavior and performance
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of experience or MS with 0+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 0+ years of experience
- Active DOD Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR)
- Programming/Code Literacy or prior experience working with software
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Mechanical, or Aerospace, Physics, Mathematics or related technical discipline
- Familiarity with software requirements tools such as DOORS and Rational Rhapsody
- Experience developing software requirements
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Experience with C/C++/Python
- Experience with DXL scripting
- Human Factors experience
- Current Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
