Job Summary

The YWCA Of Eastern Union County is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Manager - Domestic Violence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Community Support Services department, you will be responsible for providing case management services to survivors of domestic violence, ensuring a safe and confidential atmosphere for all program participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis interventions, intakes, accompaniment, assessments, case management, advocacy, and referrals to program participants.
  • Create an empowering environment for program participants, promoting their independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Maintain and report program statistics and assessments, as well as paper and electronic file entry and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other community agencies and members, ensuring a collaborative approach to service delivery.
  • Assist the Director of Community Support Services in the development and implementation of services, aligning with the agency's goals and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking and writing skills.
  • Cultural competency, with experience or education in working with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and trauma, with excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver's License.
