About the Role

In this position, you will work closely with leadership and principals to gain an understanding of our process and project types. You will work on projects from start to finish in various sectors, including budgeting and coordination of proposals, bids, and contracts. You will also manage coding and stay up-to-date on changes in requirements and documentation, with a strong focus on construction administration and review of submittals and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research project sites and their surrounding context, as well as relevant project precedents
  • Develop conceptual ideas and sketches into schematic design presentations
  • Produce architectural renderings and illustrative building and site plans
  • Collaborate with other design professionals to interpret schematic designs in the construction document and construction phases of the projects
  • Research zoning and building codes, building systems, materials, and site requirements
  • Present design and planning concepts to clients and other governing bodies
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an Architect or Project Architect
  • BA in Architecture
  • Registered Architect or Designer (highly preferred)
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D drafting and modeling software, including Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, ArcGIS, and Rendering software
  • Microsoft Office skills
