Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Audiologist or Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, educate and train hearing aid users of best practices.
- Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting, conducting repairs, and cleaning.
- Achieve practice growth with a strong mindset on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical practice standards.
- Local community outreach, including health fairs and developing physician relationships.
- Counsel patients on the purchase of their hearing aids, devices, and accessories, maintaining a current understanding of third-party payors and various payment methods.
- Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product portfolio.
- Maintain continuing education requirements based on state requirements.
- Active Hearing Aid Dispensing License or Audiology License in accordance with state requirements.
- 2+ years Hearing Aid sales experience or 2 years equivalent in industry training under a licensed HIS or AuD.
