Neuroradiology Technical Operations Supervisor

Are you prepared to assume a pivotal role in overseeing technical operations within the Medical Center's imaging department? As the Imaging Department Technical Manager, you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the efficiency and quality of imaging services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the effectiveness of the technical imaging service.
- Optimizing the utilization of Medical Center resources.
- Creating initiatives aimed at quality enhancement, safety system improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborating with departmental colleagues and the Medical Center for organizational advancement.
- Formulating operational policies and procedures in partnership with the Administrator and Medical Director.
- Coordinating ongoing training and professional development programs for staff and students.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $63.62 Hourly
Minimum RequirementsEducation:
- Experienced candidates should possess ARRT certification with a preference for Neuroradiology experience.
- Inexperienced candidates should hold certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Sonography, or Vascular Sonography.
- An Associate's Degree is preferred.
Experience: MRI experience is preferred.
Licensure:
- Experienced candidates must be registered by ARRT or ARMIRT.
- Inexperienced candidates must be registered in X-Ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy by one or more of the following agencies: ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required.
This position primarily involves sedentary work utilizing desktop computers. Occasional travel may be necessary for meetings and programs.
