Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Psychologist to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our Department of Psychological Services, you will provide psychological services to patients in various clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations, focused clinical assessments, and provide psychological interventions to patients
  • Offer staff consultation, clinical supervision, and program development and oversight
  • Participate in multidisciplinary organizational initiatives and program evaluation
  • Collaborate with Cancer Center providers and colleagues across disciplines
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program (or equivalent)
  • Valid Psychologist-PhD license
  • Completion of internship from an APA accredited program (or equivalent)
  • At least 1-year post-doctoral training in a clinical setting
  • Minimum 3 years' post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, including experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and staff consultation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background and training in Psycho-Oncology
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations
