Position: Engineering Manager/Product Owner

We are in search of an Engineering Manager with a strong background in technical leadership and team development. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, alongside a minimum of 5 years in software development and 2-3 years in a technical leadership role. Experience as a product owner is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide the operations of the engineering department.
  • Establish and implement procedures to uphold quality and productivity standards.
  • Manage product and program design from conception through to execution and delivery.
  • Build, nurture, and lead engineering teams to fulfill essential engineering objectives.
  • Ensure software implementation aligns with customer specifications, design parameters, and established workflows.
  • Innovate and execute technical advancements to enhance team efficiency and output.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth.
  • Contribute positively to the organization’s business and financial outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and managing technical teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while operating a computer.
  • Frequent communication with clients and team members.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
