Job Summary

At Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center, we are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Multi-Specialty Clinic team. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide direct patient care and support to our healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordinated patient-centered clinic support related to visit-level care.
  • Work in collaboration with the clinic's healthcare team to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
  • Ensure seamless communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification through a nationally recognized accredited program required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
