Product Development Associate
The role of the Product Development Associate is essential within the OTC Business unit, playing a pivotal part in various significant tasks aimed at fostering innovation, supporting a diverse portfolio of ANDAs, and fulfilling customer and market demands. This position requires collaboration with numerous stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that projects progress smoothly and that all development activities are executed punctually.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and documentation of the product portfolio.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) before and after product launches.
- Coordinate the provision of samples and fulfill supplier requirements.
- Acquire and manage documentation and assets related to the OTC product portfolio.
- Support the development and pre-commercialization phases of new products by organizing, supplying, and monitoring all necessary internal and external data.
- Deliver analytical support, including reporting, product performance evaluation, modeling, and forecasting analysis.
- Oversee a wide array of business development initiatives and activities, focusing on engagement, assessment, and relationship management.
- Ensure readiness for new product launches.
- Collaborate with Quality, Drug Safety, Supply Chain, and Legal teams to promote best practices, enhance processes, resolve customer issues, and mitigate potential liabilities.
- Work closely with other members of the OTC team to meet customer requests and requirements effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Preferred background in packaging, manufacturing, and/or pharmaceuticals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications.
- Strong time management, organizational, adaptability, and communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
** The base salary for this position is up to $85,000 annually. This figure represents the expected salary for fully qualified candidates, with the final salary determined by various factors including relevant experience, job responsibilities, industry experience, and educational background.
