Patient Services Coordinator

Overview:
The Clinic Patient Representative acts as the primary contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome at the Family Health Center. This role is essential in facilitating the center's operations by managing appointment scheduling, handling financial transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of patient information through the healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial transactions of patient accounts
- Execute posting operations for institutional clients and review all billing activities related to the accounts receivable system
- Address patient inquiries and resolve complaints regarding institutional billing matters
- Conduct order entry, patient registration, and various clerical tasks
- Provide training to clerical staff on proper registration procedures and the generation of patient reports
- Perform additional clerical tasks as required, which may include verifying insurance, documenting statistics, registering patients, and updating patient records
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments, managing phone communications, and informing patients about their benefits
- Complete other assigned duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Schedule:
Per Diem as needed
