We are seeking highly motivated and qualified part-time Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our nursing department at the Neville Center at Fresh Pond, a Five Star, Joint Commission, American Healthcare Association Award-winning, short-term rehab, long-term, and skilled nursing care community.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess the healthcare needs of residents, make a nursing diagnosis, and develop an interdisciplinary plan of care utilizing all available resources.
  • Establish and maintain functional communications with staff, other disciplines, residents, families, medical staff, and community.
  • Monitor the effects of medications and treatments, providing feedback to the interdisciplinary team and medical managers to ensure residents receive appropriate care.
  • Lead and direct the nursing staff in the safe and effective delivery of care, providing education to residents regarding their healthcare issues and care plan strategies.
  • Knowledge and ability regarding infection control, fire and disaster policies, and other facility and/or state and federal policies and practices that provide a safe environment for residents, community, and staff.
  • Knowledge of and ability regarding the protection of resident rights, and the treatment of residents, staff, and community with respect and dignity.
