Chicago, Illinois, United States Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance Full time

Organization Overview

Mission: The Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) is a collaborative network dedicated to enhancing energy efficiency, optimizing energy generation, and minimizing consumption. Our goal is to create job opportunities and reduce carbon emissions across all communities in the Midwest.

Vision: MEEA envisions a practical pathway for all individuals and communities in the Midwest to access the economic, environmental, and societal advantages of energy efficiency and the broader clean energy economy.

At MEEA, we utilize our expertise to serve as the leading resource for our members, allies, policymakers, and the wider sector, advocating for energy efficiency as a crucial strategy for achieving a clean, affordable, equitable, and sustainable future. • Effectively manage the annual program budget and provide detailed financial reports to program funders, federal and state grantors, the Market Solutions & Education Director, the Executive Director, and the Board of Directors.
  • Monitor programmatic trends across the region to serve as a resource for MEEA membership and other staff.
  • Represent MEEA externally to media, stakeholders, funders, and the efficiency community as a recognized industry expert at conferences and events.
  • Assist the Market Solutions & Education Director with business development, including identifying new program opportunities and developing grant proposals in response to solicitations.
  • Act as a proactive and positive team member, taking the initiative to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other MEEA departments and team members to promote energy efficiency throughout the region, expand membership, and serve as a resource and expert.
