Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Home Care Service Coordinator to join our team at Ambercare. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule employees as directed by client care plans and communicate with central admissions.
  • Process patient authorizations and ensure chart preparation for new clients.
  • Create work schedules and manage changes due to client requests, illness, or leaves of absence.
  • On-board and train new branch administrative employees.
  • Supervise direct service employees and hold them accountable to company policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of scheduling or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling programs.
  • Reliable transportation required.
