We are seeking an Aquatic Educator to join our team at Goldfish Swim School - Johns Creek. As a Water Safety Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching children the essential skills needed to stay safe around water.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to instruct students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

This role requires strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work with children. The ideal candidate will be certified in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid, and have experience working with youth sports, camps, or childcare programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Make rescues and administer first aid when necessary.
  • Evaluate students' progress, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students' swim skills.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Certified lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification required.
  • Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider required.
