Salary
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Job Description
The Swim Instructor will be responsible for teaching students water safety and proper swim techniques based on our comprehensive curriculum. They will also be expected to enforce safety rules and regulations, make rescues and administer first aid when necessary, and interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students' swim skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider, and two or more years as a swimming instructor. Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification are required, and Shallow Water Attendant certification is highly recommended.
