Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional nursing care to children enrolled in our UAMS Kids First clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the nursing process to manage patient care problems of a complex and changing nature.
  • Assume accountability and responsibility for all aspects of care for assigned group of patients.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and perform procedures according to UAMS and Kids First policies.
  • Evaluate children to identify signs of illness or injury and intervene appropriately.
  • Coordinate and complete nursing intake/health assessment history and ongoing nursing assessments.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Nursing PLUS two (2) years RN experience.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas.
  • Current CPR instructor status or obtained within six months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors in Nursing.
