Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at White House Black Market. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and personalized shopping experience for all customers.
- Sales: Meet or exceed sales goals by utilizing sales techniques, communicating product knowledge, and recommending merchandise to customers.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current sales, promotions, and product offerings, including visual standards and merchandise handling.
- Visual Merchandising: Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance, to ensure a visually appealing store environment.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive store environment, and support store operations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Retail or sales experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to learn or adapt to technology, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Constant Walking/Standing: 67-100% of 8-hour shift.
- Occasional Lifting: Up to 50 lbs. - 1-33% of 8-hour shift.
- Frequent Climbing: 34%-66% of 8-hour shift.
