At The Pennant Group, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

About the Role

The Healthcare Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all office activities, including medical records, data entry, and patient records management. They will also prepare for meetings, coordinate telephone calls, and maintain sufficient office supplies. Additionally, they will handle clinical scheduling and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have two years of data entry experience and previous billing and computer experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar operation.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with regulations
  2. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff through telephone calls and correspondence
  3. Welcome and assist guests, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and performing typing, faxing, and copying tasks as requested
  4. Input data into the computer system for billing purposes and track admission, discharge, IDT, certification, and re-certification dates
  5. Participate in audits of patient information and maintain accurate mailing lists of employees, patients, volunteers, Medical Directors, physicians, and nursing facilities
