We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic Family Medicine team. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population across various settings.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed medical histories and perform thorough physical examinations to assess patient health.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate evaluation of health conditions.
- Collaborate closely with supervising physicians to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Administer routine procedures, including injections, suturing, and wound care, while managing both acute and chronic health issues.
- Provide patient education on disease management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care quality and continuity.
- Refer patients to specialists as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives by reviewing patient outcomes and treatment protocols.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or as a Physician Assistant.
- National certification as an APRN or PA, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be necessary based on the work environment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
- Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and independent judgment.
Work Environment:
