  • Administer routine procedures, including injections, suturing, and wound care, while managing both acute and chronic health issues.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care quality and continuity.
  • Refer patients to specialists as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives by reviewing patient outcomes and treatment protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or as a Physician Assistant.
  • National certification as an APRN or PA, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be necessary based on the work environment.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and independent judgment.

Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting, engaging with patients of all ages and managing a variety of health conditions. Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary to meet the needs of the practice.
