Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead, Credentialing to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our credentialing team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our staff, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of physician credentialing applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring the successful completion of credentialing tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of credentialing processes with other healthcare operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including medical staff offices and hospitals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in credentialing and privileging.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on credentialing and privileging.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including NCQA and TJC.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in credentialing and privileging, such as CPCS or CPMSM.
  • Experience with database management and report generating languages.
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
