Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal RF Application Engineer to join our team at Ethan Alexander Group, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge RF systems engineering projects, leveraging your expertise in cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, and 5G applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop RF front-end systems, including RFIC design and silicon bench validation/characterization.
  • Develop reference designs and documentation for RF systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Conduct testing and characterization of RF systems using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of RF systems engineering, particularly for cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, and 5G applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with RF Front-End parameters such as NF, noise circles, IP2/IM2, IP3/IM3, Gain modes, S-parameters, as well as Tx path PAE, Gain, ACLR, power sweep, Rx Band Noise, harmonics, Spectrum Emission Mask, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and characterization equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in related fields such as RFIC design or silicon bench validation/characterization.
  • Experience in working in one or more startup companies.
