About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Tesla Energy team as a Project Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the execution of projects from design phase through to commissioning, while managing all engineering activities to ensure successful projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply electrical and power systems knowledge to identify and drive solutions for large-scale utility projects.
  • Review single-line drawings, communication wiring diagrams, and BESS system layouts.
  • Identify gaps in scope and responsibility to ensure project success.
  • Interface with internal and external customers to ensure consistent communication.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in MV electrical installations, ampacity calculations, short-circuit/load flow, protective device coordination, arc flash, and grounding per IEEE 80.
  • Experience in controls, networking, SCADA, and CAD skills.
  • Experience in renewables, PV, battery storage, EPC, generation system design, and microgrids.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
