Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our team at TEC Equipment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our truck parts sales business by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Utilize creative strategies and sales techniques to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional service to customers.
- Customer Relationship Building: Identify, profile, and call on prospective customers to increase market share and build strong relationships with existing customers.
- Order Fulfillment and Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction from start of sale to delivery of parts, and accurately complete all processes and required paperwork and sales logs.
- Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on inventory, market, and customer trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers.
- Experience: 2 years minimum outside parts sales experience required, with experience in heavy duty truck parts sales preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of local customers, ability to fill out customer reports and objectives, comfortable with cold calling and able to source new business, organizational and time management skills, ability to build and maintain successful relationships with customers, and ability to strategically drive sales in a competitive market.
- Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
The total pay range for this position is $123,859 to $154,824. TEC Equipment provides a comprehensive benefits package, including choice of two medical plan options, dental plans, vision care, 401(k) retirement savings plan, life, accident, and disability insurance, employee assistance program, education assistance, and paid holidays and vacation time.
