Tax Preparer Assistant

At H&R Block, we're looking for a Tax Preparer Assistant to join our team in WATERTVILLE, Maine. As a Tax Preparer Assistant, you will inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money. You'll build client relationships that will grow stronger every year. Your day will be filled with assisting with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures. You'll also ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service. To be successful in this role, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview, and the ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone. Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs is a plus. If you're passionate about helping others and have a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.
