About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Support Services Technician to join our dedicated Wash team at our Germantown, NY site. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of the cages housing our animals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate specialized cage washers to clean assorted animal barrier supplies and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Safely maneuver equipment and products using forklifts.
  • Conduct regular maintenance to uphold optimal equipment performance.
  • Process animal barrier orders with crucial supplies, ensuring timely supply delivery.
  • Participate in the assembly of Individually Ventilated Cages (IVC) to meet facility requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience or equivalent training.
  • Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic computer proficiency for documentation purposes (training provided).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges as they arise.
