Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision
  • Process prescriptions, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals
  • Assist with clinical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing relationships with the local medical community

Requirements:

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills
