Technical Leadership Role at Canny

Canny is seeking a seasoned software development professional to lead the development of our customer feedback platform. As a senior software development professional, you will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of the product, collaborating with the product and design teams to develop and implement new features, and optimizing existing features to improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features.
  • Optimize and refine existing features to improve UX and decrease friction.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and fix bugs to improve customer experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews, fostering a culture of quality and collaborative learning.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies to maintain Canny's edge in the market.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a frontend focus.
  • Production experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, AWS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are self-motivated and have strong organizational skills.
  • Experience working autonomously and as a part of a small, preferably remote, team.

Bonus:
  • Experience building enterprise and/or SaaS software.
  • Deep experience with frontend web applications.
