Portsmouth Regional Hospital Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with medical providers and the care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
Qualifications:
- New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or active compact state licensure required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
