Overview

As the Venue Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in assisting the General Manager with the comprehensive management of the facility, ensuring that the venue serves as an exceptional home for the Lexington Sporting Club. Your primary focus will be on maintaining world-class operational standards while training the venue staff to deliver unparalleled customer service to all visitors.

This role offers an annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000.

Full-time benefits include: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching, and paid time off (including vacation days, sick leave, and 12 holidays).

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in all management aspects of the venue

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the venue's physical structure

• Recruit, train, and manage all event-related personnel, including security, guest services, janitorial, and maintenance staff, in accordance with the OVG Management agreement

• Collaborate with Lexington Sporting Club staff to ensure all events and programs are executed as per the agreed terms

• Participate in weekly management and staff meetings to foster effective communication

• Serve as Manager on Duty when required

• Perform additional duties as necessary, compatible with the nature of the position. This list is not exhaustive and serves to provide an overview of key responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in sports
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the soccer and venue management sectors
  • Assertive, enthusiastic, energetic, and punctual

    • Strong relationship management skills, work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and effectively plan and organize operations for a successful facility
  • A college degree is strongly preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as required for event scheduling, including days, evenings/nights, and weekends.
