Job Overview

Are you enthusiastic about establishing partnerships with retailers? This position enables you to oversee your own accounts by concentrating on selling products and promotions while demonstrating your merchandising expertise. Become the Coca-Cola subject matter expert for retailers by managing all sales, merchandising, and inventory requirements.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Implementing commercial strategies for your customers on established daily routes.
  • Utilizing your communication skills (Listening, Speaking, and Writing).
  • Exhibiting your competitive spirit daily.
  • Stocking, merchandising, and rotating all beverage sections and displays in your assigned stores.
  • Managing all ordering functions of the role. Maintain appropriate inventory levels, reduce shrinkage, and organize storage areas.
  • Building all displays sold locally or through agreements.
  • Providing guidance and communication to merchandisers and specialists supporting your territory during your days off.

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is tasked with selling, ordering, and presenting products. The BAM role involves selling new products and promotions, collaborating with customers to ensure accurate product orders, executing commercial plans across your account base, and merchandising products while adhering to safe handling practices and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversees, sells, and executes within a designated group of customers on daily, pre-scheduled routes, generating sales orders based on the assigned delivery frequency to ensure operational success and contribute to the company's financial performance.
  • Implements applicable promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial plans to achieve excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers.
  • Stocks, merchandises, and rotates products on display and shelves according to established procedures and special programs.
  • Organizes and maintains storage areas by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor, and managing the return of empty pallets and damaged products.
  • Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where permitted. Rotates products and fills Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; checks vendor operations for compliance.
  • Develops business relationships with store personnel through regular follow-ups on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and discussions about upcoming activities.
  • Identifies and communicates any competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business (e.g., pricing, new packaging, changes in strategy) and executes all job duties safely.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing.
  • Prior customer service experience in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
  • Strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Secondary education beyond high school is preferred.
  • High initiative and eagerness to learn.
  • Career-oriented mindset and a highly competitive nature.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • Proof of insurance policy verifying current coverage of liability and property damage.
  • High School Education / GED.

The work environment may vary, including exposure to various weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may not be temperature-controlled.
