Position Responsibilities:

As a Heavy Civil Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of heavy construction equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, dozers, excavators, rollers, loaders, haul trucks, motor graders, and skid steers.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Knowledge of GPS Machine Control is preferred.
  • A Class A CDL is preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends as required.
  • Capability to work in diverse weather conditions and in environments that may be dirty or dusty.
  • Membership in the appropriate trade union or willingness to join is required; assistance with this process is available through our Human Resources Department.
  • Prior experience in road construction, earth moving, site grading, landscaping, or sewer/water work is advantageous.
