Equipment Enclosure Assembly Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Enclosure Assembly Technician to join our team at Hubbell Power Systems. As a key member of our Integrated Substation Solutions team, you will be responsible for constructing equipment enclosures and installing building components.
Key Responsibilities- Construct equipment enclosures to meet the highest standard of quality
- Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection of cores and materials
- Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements
- Adhere to all company rules and policies
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Ensure work practices are in line with OSHA standards
- Ensure machines are running properly to avoid unnecessary downtime
- Finish units to the production specification sheet
- Perform Total Preventive Maintenance duties
- Construction background preferred
- Solid understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices
- Ability to set up finishing machines and understand machine settings and functions
- Ability to operate a hoist properly and safely
- Ability to stand for extensive periods of time
