Seeking a dedicated and experienced School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students' communication and language development in an online learning environment.

About the Position

This is a full-time 1099 position, where you will work remotely, serving students in Iowa. As a Virtual School Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in conducting virtual assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and parents, and providing virtual therapy sessions in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities
  • Virtual Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address students' communication needs, aligned with their IEPs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' academic success.
  • Virtual Therapy: Provide high-quality virtual therapy sessions to students, promoting effective communication and language skills.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required for this position.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting is necessary.
  • Certification: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and Iowa licensure and certification are mandatory.
  • Technical Requirements: Reliable high-speed internet connection, comfort with virtual therapy platforms, strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work independently are essential.
