Job Overview

Northern Gear & Machining seeks an experienced Quality Control Technician to ensure the highest standards of quality in our precision machining operations. This role involves collaborating with production employees, inspecting products, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

About Northern Gear & Machining:

We are a full-service machining company based in Southeastern Wisconsin, producing precision machined parts, geared components, and related assemblies using state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct floor audits to ensure quality compliance and accurate data recording.
  • Inspect products using various measuring tools and equipment.
  • Gage calibration and inspection of incoming raw materials.
  • Implement ISO9001:2015 standards through internal audits.
  • Assist in programming quality measuring equipment.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Control in a machined metals manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CMM experience preferred, but training will be provided.

Benefits:

Air-conditioned facility, 1 week of vacation upon hire, full benefits, and holiday pay.

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
