We are seeking an experienced Patient-Centered Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at our 82-bed behavioral health hospital in Brockton, MA.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing compassionate care to individuals experiencing complex mental health and substance use needs. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

About the Role:

  • Provide evidence-based evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients, including prescribing medications and/or other psychotherapeutic interventions.
  • Develop treatment plans, measure progress against the plans, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with a broader team to assess and adjust treatment plans.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational quality improvement programs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from a nurse practitioner education program with specialization in mental health.
  • Two years of experience as a nurse practitioner or five years of experience in nursing preferred.
  • Current licensure as a nurse practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current valid DEA certificate and MA Controlled Substances certificate or eligibility.
  • Buprenorphine waiver required or willingness to acquire waiver.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
