About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Auto Parts Sales Associate to join our team at Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting sales programs, and supporting the overall success of our store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide over-the-counter direct sales to customers, taking orders in-person and by phone.
  • Support the sales team in promoting sales programs and activities.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and back rooms/warehouse.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, properly invoice/credit customer accounts.
  • Prioritize the order of delivery items and assign deliveries to drivers, if applicable.
  • Correctly handle new and defective core returns from customers, ensuring proper customer credit and completing necessary paperwork.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience or motivation to pursue a GED.
  • One year of professional automotive parts experience or two years of hobbyist automotive parts experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
