About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team at our Slovak, AR retail location. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of products to our customers.

Job Summary

The Class A CDL Driver will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer truck to transport cargo to and from specified destinations. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer truck to transport cargo to and from specified destinations
  • Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure safe operation and compliance with DOT regulations
  • Load, secure, and unload cargo per operating procedure
  • Plan and direct loading/unloading of the vehicle for optimal customer service and safe transportation of products
  • Record preventive maintenance and expense records for the vehicle
  • Perform other assigned job tasks to ensure the successful operation of the warehouse/location
Requirements
  • Must have and maintain a "satisfactory" driving record in accordance with company guidelines
  • Requires CDL Class A
  • Specific site qualifications and progression may apply
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Class A CDL Driver
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
  • Ability to communicate with associates and customers
Work Environment

The employee will be routinely exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, adverse weather conditions, and extreme temperatures associated with working in outdoor and warehouse environments.

Travel

Travel associated with this position is typically day trips driving commercial vehicles to and from pickup and drop off locations. Overnight travel requirements are very rare.
