Job Description

Position: Call Center/ Front Desk Coordinator

Company Overview:

We are a rapidly expanding Rheumatology & Endocrinology practice, providing a wide range of in-house ancillary services including MRI, X-ray, Phlebotomy, a CLIA Certified High Complexity Lab, Infusion Suite, Braces, MSK Ultrasound, and more.

Role Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and motivated individual to enhance our call center operations for our medical practice. This is a full-time position with a standard workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all incoming calls from patients across multiple lines.
  • Welcome and assist patients over the phone.
  • Schedule appointments and address general inquiries.
  • Direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
  • Take precise messages for office staff.
  • Handle and maintain insurance referrals from primary care providers.
  • Facilitate the sending of medical records.

This role is crucial as it often represents the first point of contact for patients and vendors. Therefore, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor is essential at all times. Candidates with experience in a specialty medical office and familiarity with insurance plans and policies will be highly regarded.
