Our mission is to unite donor passions with university priorities to elevate the impact of Oklahoma State University.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide strategic direction for assigned fundraising priorities and programs, planning strategies for priority prospects and sustaining annual fundraising production with established goals.
  • You will perform and evaluate fundraising tasks and/or projects with appropriate supervision, taking charge in crisis situations and making tough decisions in a timely manner.
  • You will develop and execute engagement and stewardship plans for specific assigned prospects, cultivating relationships with professional advisors and providing technical support and estate and tax planning expertise for constituency development officers.
  • You will report and track fundraising progress using contact reports, prospect management, and other communication tools to ensure efficient and effective communication.
  • You will successfully solicit 18-24 planned/major gifts annually and participate in ongoing gift planning educational and professional development presentations for both internal staff and external constituencies.

Requirements

  • You should hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, marketing, or a related field, with a J.D. degree and experience in estate and tax planning being highly preferred.
  • You should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in estate and tax planning, with fundraising experience with planned gifts being preferred.
  • You should demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as proficiency and knowledge in developing and executing client/donor strategies.
  • You should be able to effectively manage complex environments, people, and situations, and take responsibility for team outcomes regardless of success and learn from all results.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
