As a High-Performance Distributed Systems Engineer at MapR, you will be part of our team that addresses the data complexities of high-scale distributed processing from cloud to edge, IoT analytics, and container persistence.

You will work in a fast-paced environment where you can learn and push the boundaries of performance and scale. MapR DB and MapR Streams are industry-leading NoSQL DB and messaging products for cloud, containerized, and on-prem deployments.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver an enterprise-grade product with extremely high performance, scalability to thousands of nodes and petabytes of data for cloud, containerized, and bare-metal deployment.
  • Make the product easy to use for developers and administrators.
  • Implement key customer-visible features and integrate with adjacent products.

We seek candidates with strong development skills in C/C++/Java and experience building scalable systems. A BS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.

Estimated salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year.
