We are currently looking for a High-Performance Computing Engineer to join our Research-Focused Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company like Roche and contribute to our mission of developing cutting-edge technologies that accelerate personalized healthcare. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in developing high-performance computing applications and will drive innovation through expertise in C/C++ and Python.
The Job Description:
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-performance computing applications using C/C++ and Python.
- With your extensive experience in CUDA, Thrust, and TensorFlow, you will optimize software for maximum efficiency and scalability.
- You will pursue continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions to meet evolving research needs.
- You will develop and maintain robust documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure seamless handovers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 10 years of direct experience; Master/PhD a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in GPU software development or equivalent experience in coursework.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++, along with experience with GPU-accelerated C/C++ libraries.
- Recent experience with C++14/17 compiler standards and algorithm frameworks like Boost and TBB.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing, debugging, and optimizing parallel Linux applications.
Salary: $165,200 - $306,800 (Santa Clara, CA location). Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
