**Key Responsibilities:**

* Accurately estimate labor and material costs for commercial plumbing projects ranging from $2M to $20M.
* Prepare detailed, competitive, and accurate bid proposals for various projects, including hospitals, data centers, laboratories, schools, and universities.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive estimates.
* Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
* Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess potential risks and opportunities.
* Maintain a database of historical data for use in future estimates and bids.
* Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for price and scope clarity.

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in plumbing estimating for large-scale commercial projects.
* Proven track record of working on projects within the $2M to $20M range.
* Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and current industry practices.
* Proficiency in construction software such as Bluebeam, FastPIPE, and MS Project.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

**Preferred Skill Sets:**

* Local to Orange County with a stable work history.
* Experience with OSHPD/HCAI regulations and requirements.
* Advanced knowledge in BIM software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Team player with a passion for the commercial mechanical industry.
