Hills Bank is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Business Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting the CFO and senior management with financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support business planning and decision-making.
- Assist in the annual budget process, including interaction with key stakeholders and business units to develop key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Review and analyze various aspects of the budget for reasonability and create KPI dashboards.
- Provide insights to the CFO and senior stakeholders around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability.
- Prepare and automate reports and presentations for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of banking/credit union experience.
- Master's Degree or MBA preferred but not required.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical capabilities with knowledge of accounting/financial reporting and financial modeling.
- Ability to work with and navigate US GAAP based financial reporting.
- Ability to read and analyze financial statements.
- Ability to retrieve and incorporate financial market and other data into analyses.
