Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the University of California. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures using established protocols to achieve high-quality images.
  • Enter complex data into computer systems and review, verify, and evaluate images to ensure technical quality and image quality.
  • Ensure compliance with related policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other healthcare members.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Radiography (CRT-R) certification.
  • California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F) certification within six months of hire.
  • Registered Technologist for Radiography issued by ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)).
  • BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in a similar role and setting.
  • Demonstrated hospital experience.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Must be able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and some overtime if necessary.
