Job Overview

Soliant is seeking a skilled Virtual Occupational Therapist to provide teletherapy services to students in Maine. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity with flexible caseload and the potential for renewal.

About the Role

In this role, you will deliver virtual occupational therapy services through our specialized platform aligned with IEP goals. You will assess student needs, develop customized intervention plans, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Virtual OT Services: Utilize our teletherapy platform to provide occupational therapy services to students in Maine.
  • Assess Student Needs: Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop customized intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with Teachers, Parents, and School Staff: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Keep accurate records of student progress and attend IEP meetings as required.
  • Use Engaging Teletherapy Tools: Leverage our suite of teletherapy tools to enhance student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy: Hold a master's or doctorate degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active State Licensure: Possess active state licensure for the state you serve and reside in.
  • 2+ Years of School-Based or Pediatric OT Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy.
  • Familiarity with IEPs and Special Education Practices: Be familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education practices.
  • Reliable Computer, High-Speed Internet, and Quiet Workspace: Ensure you have a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience. Soliant offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
